Three new PhD students have joined the lab

Dominica Cao, Kat Hebert, and Sarah Morgan, all MCGD-track students in the BBS Program, have joined the lab! Dominica's research will focus on what defines a body plan and body plan evolution in early animal lineages. Kat is interested in the development of tissue and aims to study the evolution of tubulogenesis through the canal system of sponges. Sarah Morgan will be co-mentored by Professor Jing Yan and will investigate symbiosis of algae in sponges and other animals.
