Jake, Kejue, and Thomas Biederer receive Yale AI Seed Grant

Kejue, Jake, and collaborator Thomas Biederer at the Yale School of Medicine received a Yale AI Seed Grant. The project will develop a multimodal language model to investigate the evolutionary assembly of the neuronal synapse. By integrating molecular, cellular, and evolutionary data, the model will help reconstruct how synaptic machinery arose and diversified during animal evolution.
